My Client is currently looking for a business development specialist to lead and own the business development work

stream, with responsibility to improve our current market position and achieve significant financial growth.

They will be required to produce and present sales and marketing plans, define strategic goals, build key

relationships, identify new business opportunities, while negotiating and closing business deals. They will need to

develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the industry, our products and solutions, and their subsequent

relevance to our clients and current market conditions. They will also be a key component of our product review

process assisting in the development of our standard product and solutions roadmap.

This person will report directly to the Commercial Director and board with responsibility for delivering financial

growth with performance-based options to progress within the company.

 

The suitable candidate will have:

 

 

 

Successfully created and executed business development plans

 

 

A clear understanding of commercial terms and how to structure deals

 

 

Previous sales or lead generation experience within a commercial B2B environment, is essential

 

 

Excellent communication skills to relate to team members, clients and prospects

 

 

Experience of Managing a team

 

 

A confident, friendly and outgoing personality

 

Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing

 

Ability to problem solve, delegate, multi-task, plan and organise

 

 

Strong relationship building skills

 

 

Solid understanding of key financial statements including but not limited to budgets, P&L, cash flow

 

 

Ability to write standard proposals, memo’s, letters, emails, product copy and press releases

 

 

Knowledge of Salesforce.com (or equivalent CRM system) is highly desirable

 

 

IT Services experience is desirable but not essential
